Parks Maintenance Technician
City of Collinsville
This is a full-time, hourly position reporting directly to the Superintendent of Parks and Open Spaces. The technician will perform skilled and semi-skilled duties in maintenance of City-owned properties and equipment, including landscaping, horticulture, playground and athletic field maintenance, and lake upkeep. The role may involve leading a team of part-time or seasonal employees.
Work is primarily outdoors, exposed to weather extremes and chemicals. Schedule may include night and weekend work during peak seasons and events.
Starting at $40,705.60/year, with overtime eligibility. Benefits include health, dental, vision, prescription coverage, pension, disability, student loan forgiveness, vacation, personal days, sick hours, tuition reimbursement, and holidays.
