Qualifications

Basic knowledge of park, grounds, and facilities maintenance.
Ability to interact with the public and enforce rules respectfully.
Ability to read, write, understand and speak English.
Must have or obtain a valid Florida driver's license within 30 days of hire.
Minimum 1 year work experience in grounds maintenance, basic construction or related trades.

Responsibilities

Maintain 8 tennis courts at GT Bray Racquet Center, including brushing, lining and basic troubleshooting.
Perform routine semi-skilled maintenance and repair of park facilities, grounds, and equipment.
Assist higher level workers in more advanced projects.
Organize and prepare parts and tools; load/unload trucks as needed.
Maintain landscapes, grounds, shrubs, trees, and sprinkler systems.
Operate maintenance equipment and light to medium vehicles; report deficiencies.
Keep basic service records and daily logs (timekeeping, attendance).
Interact with the public and enforce park rules in a courteous manner.
