Job summary

City of Folsom is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for the Parks Maintenance Division. This exempt, Monday–Friday role oversees park, playground, trail, and field maintenance, including irrigation, trees, and safety programs. Strong supervisory skills and municipal work experience are essential.

The ideal candidate will lead in budgeting, project coordination, and performance management, with a focus on safe, attractive parks and trails for the community.

Qualifications

• Supervise maintenance staff by determining workloads, schedules, policies and procedures; evaluate staff and recommend hiring.
• Monitor and participate in projects, inspect contracts and ensure safety & procedures.
• Provide input into operating budgets and monitor expenditures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and evaluate subordinates; assign workloads and schedules.
• Oversee contracts and coordinate with contractors to ensure quality and safety.
• Manage budgets, track expenditures, and prepare reports.
