Job summary

City of Anaheim Community Services Department is seeking qualified Part Time Parks Maintenance Workers (Part Time Laborers) for the maintenance and janitorial upkeep of our City parks and yards. The Parks Maintenance Worker is the front line to our community to ensure that our citizens and visitors have a pleasant and memorable experience.

Ideal candidates will have prior work experience in custodial/janitorial, parks/grounds maintenance, tree delivery, and/or preventative fire clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial/janitorial, parks/grounds maintenance, or tree delivery preferred.
• Ability to drive city vehicle and maintain a valid California driver's license.
• Must meet safety and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual labor across facilities, streets, parks, and landscaping.
• Trim shrubs and small trees; operate related equipment.
• Clean and service park restrooms; manage trash and debris.
• Set up traffic safety devices and ensure public safety at work sites.
• Operate warehouse equipment and assist public inquiries as needed.
