Job summary

Gfoat in Irving, Texas is hiring a grounds maintenance worker to care for city parks and fields. You will operate mowers, tractors, ATVs, backpack blowers, string trimmers and edgers, and perform turf and landscape tasks.

Responsibilities include mowing and edging, flower bed upkeep, athletic field prep, restroom cleaning, litter removal, basic park repairs, and irrigation system maintenance. CDL is beneficial and six months of related experience is required.

Qualifications

• Six months of related experience.
• Ability to read and write at a level necessary for job performance.
• Valid Class C Texas driver’s license required.
• CDL is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain city property grounds, parks and fields.
• Mow, edge and maintain flower beds; prepare athletic fields.
• Clean restrooms and remove litter.
• Perform general repairs and basic maintenance of park structures.
• Assist with irrigation system maintenance and chemical application.
