Job summary

Bluffton Chamber of Commerce is hiring a Grounds Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep of town facilities, including parks and roads. Responsibilities include operating landscaping equipment, conducting inspections, and providing excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma and experience in similar roles. A valid South Carolina driver’s license is required, along with the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• One year of related work experience as a Public Worker I or equivalent.
• Valid South Carolina driver's license required.
• Must pass a physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the grounds of the Town of Bluffton.
• Operate powered and hand tools for grounds maintenance.
• Conduct regular inspections and address maintenance needs.
• Provide customer service and support Town projects.
