The City of Brownwood, TX is seeking a non-supervisory Groundskeeper to operate tractors with mower attachments and maintain city-owned properties and vacant lots. You will perform mowing across 200+ acres, trim hedges, plant grass, water areas, and assist with general cleanup as directed by the Parks Supervisor.

Required reading and writing in English, a valid Texas Class C Driver License, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Texas Class C driver's license.
• Must be able to read & write effectively in English.
• One year of related groundskeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures.

Responsabilités

• Operate tractor with mower attachments and power mowing equipment.
• Perform routine grounds maintenance: mowing, trimming, planting, watering, and debris removal.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
