Job summary

The Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy seeks a Development Events Manager to lead a diverse calendar of fundraising events in San Francisco, CA. You will work with the Events Director, staff, volunteers, and partners to design, plan, and execute galas, auctions, trail events, and donor engagement activities.

Responsibilities include budget management, vendor leadership, staff training, and cultivating donor relationships to maximize impact, visibility and revenue, while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience delivering successful events for diverse audiences.
• Ability to create event narrative, design, content, and timeline.
• Knowledge of event planning, production and management for diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated project management and organizational skills, managing multiple events.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement an annual calendar of events and giving opportunities to maximize donor cultivation and revenue.
• Lead and manage staff, volunteers, vendors, and budgets for events with attention to detail and high standards.
• Coordinate meetings and committees, and recruit/train volunteers as needed.
• Develop sponsorships and manage donor recognition and experiences.
• Ensure events adhere to budgets, timelines, and contractual obligations.
