Pay Range: Hourly - $20.66 - $21.89
Work alongside full-time Natural Resource Technician staff to learn aspects of urban forestry duties. The purpose is to develop interested individuals who have the desire of learning the trade of urban forestry with the intent of having them develop the skills to obtain full-time employment with the Land Resources division of the Milwaukee County Parks as a Natural Resource Technician.
Prior grounds maintenance or tree service work experience preferred but not required.
NOTE: This original application is open to permanent residents of the state of Wisconsin at the time of application. In accordance with Section 11, Rule 3 of the Civil Service Rules a non-competitive examination will be held for this position. The non-competitive examination will consist of criteria deemed appropriate by the Director of Human Resources.
