Job summary

City of Maypearl is seeking a maintenance technician to respond to requests for playgrounds, aquatic facilities, and park properties. You will open gates, manage lighting for rentals and events, and maintain fountains and dog park areas to ensure safety and cleanliness.

The role includes carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry work, painting, furniture handling, and light custodial tasks. A CPSI and either AFO/CPO certification plus a Texas license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and two years of mechanical maintenance experience.
• Must have CPSI certification and either AFO or CPO certification.
• Must obtain a valid Texas Class C driver's license or have one.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests for playgrounds, aquatic facilities, park properties, and rentals.
• Open/close facility gates and manage lights for vendor rentals and events.
• Maintain playgrounds and park infrastructure, fountains, and dog park grounds.
• Perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry work; troubleshoot and repair.
• Paint interior/exterior walls and assemble/dismantle furniture; light custodial work.
• Work after-hours calls for maintenance emergencies and special events.
