Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Parks/Facility Management, Natural Resources Management, Ecology, Environmental Science, Recreation, or related field and one-year related experience.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Routinely inspects MVF park areas and amenities for maintenance and safety.
• Assists in assigning and monitoring the work of the maintenance team.
• Monitors the status of plantings and flowerbeds.
• Develops public relations materials for press releases.
• Plans and supervises volunteer park restoration projects.

Skills

Knowledge of natural resources and facility maintenance/management

Ability to use computer programs

Skill in operation of hand tools

Ability to communicate effectively

Good knowledge of outdoor and water safety

Ability to organize and supervise work

Ability to work in varying weather conditions

Ability to lift and move 40-lbs

Education
