State of California’s Department of Parks & Recreation seeks a Senior Park and Recreation Specialist (Sector Operations Manager & District Planner) for the Sonoma Mendocino Coast District. The role reports to the District Superintendent II and leads sector operations with oversight of staff and programs.

The position requires travel statewide, weekend/evening work as needed, a valid CA driver’s license, and a background check. In-office telework; CalHR PLP 2025 applies.

Responsabilités

• Provide high-level planning, environmental coordination, land use, real property, GIS, cultural resource coordination, project management, research, analysis, and operational support for the Sonoma Mendocino Coast District.
• Coordinate District priorities, work plans, staff assignments, permitting pathways, operational direction, and accountability systems.
• Provide operational management for the Russian River Sector and supervisory oversight with program supervisors.
