Job summary

The City of Boulder is seeking a Parks Construction Project Supervisor to lead all phases of park construction and renovation projects. You will oversee field work, manage budgets, and coordinate with landscape architects, planners, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely, quality project delivery.

Responsibilities include risk and schedule management, subcontractor coordination, and acting as the Owner’s Representative for project acceptance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field.
• Minimum five (5) years on-the-job experience demonstrating abilities in construction related skills (site prep, demolition, grading, utilities, irrigation, sidewalks, trails, structures, landscaping).
• Hold and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates, and manages all phases of improvement and maintenance projects for city parks.
• Supervises Parks Construction staff and coordinates with planners, landscape architects, and engineers.
• Develops project cost estimates, budgets, and schedules; manages bids, RFQs, and change orders.
• Represents the city as Owner’s Representative for final project acceptance.
• Ensures safety, maintains records, and communicates project status to stakeholders.
