Moves and cycling formats, and supporting member wellness. Typical duties include training completion within 30–60 days, class setup and teardown, accurate attendance, and providing clear modifications for participants while maintaining YMCA standards and safety

Qualifikationen

• CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications are required.
• At least 6 months of experience in wellness/fitness field.
• Ability to conduct classes safely and effectively.

Aufgaben

• Attend a 2-day virtual training for PWR! Moves and related trainings within 30–60 days of hire.
• Assist with leading energizing, safe, and educational group classes in line with YMCA mission.
• Follow Parkinson’s PWR! Moves exercises and cycling program formats.
• Offer exercises suitable for participants; monitor progression and provide modifications.
• Demonstrate proper use of cycling room equipment and PWR! Moves movements.
• Build authentic relationships with members and help them connect with the YMCA.
• Keep accurate class attendance records.
• Assist in equipment maintenance and report any breakage to the Director.
• Report to work 5 minutes before class for setup/teardown and reliability in scheduling.
• Follow YMCA policies; respond to emergencies as needed.
