YMCA of the Triangle is seeking a Part-Time Group Fitness Instructor to lead engaging, safe group classes at our Raleigh location. You will support member wellness, answer questions, and build community through energetic instruction.

This role requires BLS/First Aid and an appropriate group fitness certification, with adherence to YMCA policies and emergency procedures. The successful candidate will maintain class attendance records and foster collaborative relationships with community

Qualifications

• BLS/First Aid and Emergency Oxygen required upon hire.
• National certification in group fitness instruction (ACE, NETA, AFAA, NASM).
• Certification in areas of expertise as applicable.

Responsabilités

• Lead energizing, safe, and educational group classes as directed to accomplish YMCA goals.
• Answer member questions to support healthy living goals.
• Build authentic relationships with members and connect them with the YMCA.
• Keep accurate class attendance records.
• Follow YMCA policies and procedures; respond to emergencies.
• Maintain clear communication within area of responsibility.
