Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting in the overall management of the parking, transportation and fleet programs.
- Oversees the daily parking operation and fleet management including revenue control, auditing, fleet maintenance and fuel card program, overall parking site cleanliness, and management of space availability.
- Research, analyze and prepare reports and recommendations on Commuter Solutions options including: consultants, vendors, technology, staffing, organizational, or financial operation changes that would streamline operation or provide improved customer service.
- Research, analyze and prepare reports and recommendations on: traffic volume/flows, equipment, staffing, workload, customer surveys and customer comments.
- Collect, summarize, track and incorporate customer feedback into program improvements.
- Establish and maintain communication that enables patients, visitors and staff to understand policies, goals, directions, and strategies.
- Handle special assignments and projects as requested by management.
- Assist in reducing the number of single occupancy vehicles driven to the hospital in order to maintain or reduce congestion levels, protect green space, maintain air quality and more efficiently use the Hospital's transportation infrastructure as well as efficiently managing the hospital’s parking inventory.
- Assist in preparing and analyzing parking and fleet management data to provide recommendations to improve program operations.
- Provide technical and administrative support to enhance parking and transportation operations for all patients, visitors, and employees of Children’s Health.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and management of Children’s Health Employee Parking Program.
- Assist the Parking & Transportation Manager with identifying and deploying effective commute programs that motivate the organization’s community to choose non-SOV commute modes, such as public transit, ridesharing, teleworking, etc.
- Assist in developing metrics to track progress and usage of alternative transportation.
- Assist in the management of the transportation and parking operation contracts and contracted staff.
- Assist in coordinating transit services for the campus. Works closely with transit provider to promote the use of transit services. Help develops transit related strategies for campus operations.
- Assist and review the installation and implementation of the Parking Access Revenue Control System (PARCS).
- Coordinate and manage the PARCS maintenance program to ensure system readiness and reliability.
- Maintain and manage fleet fuel card, maintenance, and GPS software programs.
- Responds to guest inquiries and complaints about parking and transportation operations.
- Coordinates parking facility site inspection program.
- Coordinates construction activities to ensure minimal disruption to parking operation.
- Collects and analyzes data to compile reports needed for long-range planning of parking, transit, and fleet programs.
- Fill the role of Parking & Transportation Manager during absence or meetings as required.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- At least 5 years Experience in Parking and Transportation industry required.
- At least 5 years Data entry, software, customer service required.
EDUCATION
- Two-year Associate's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
