Job summary

The City of Columbia SC is seeking a dedicated coordinator to act as a liaison for parking matters, update and manage Parking Services information, and support public outreach and marketing initiatives. You will collaborate with local businesses and city departments to promote parking programs and facilitate economic development.

Responsibilities include coordinating with partners, developing marketing materials, and providing clear parking guidance to businesses and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, economics, finance, marketing, or closely related field.
• Some relevant administrative experience in parking, municipal government, marketing, or communications.
• Experience supporting public outreach, communications, or marketing initiatives.
• Must type 30 corrected wpm.
• Valid South Carolina Class “D” Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between individuals/groups and City departments for parking matters.
• Assist in updating Parking Services information on City websites and digital platforms.
• Support development and maintenance of Parking Services social media communication.
• Coordinate with entrepreneurs and business creators on parking programs, requirements, and resources.
• Collaborate with City partners to assist economic development where parking is key.
• Serve as day-to-day contact with business owners seeking parking information.
