Job summary

Oklahoma State University Stillwater seeks a Parking Maintenance Technician to maintain and enhance parking facilities. The role performs hands-on maintenance, repairs devices, cleans facilities, and services minor equipment, supporting the Parking Maintenance Lead on assigned tasks.

You will help maintain the Orange Ride Program and assist with customer service duties, contributing to safe and reliable parking services on campus.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required; degree conferred by start date.
• Two years of experience in general trades, maintenance, or related facilities field.
• Must possess a valid driver's license prior to hire and maintain it throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on maintenance on parking facilities and devices.

Hiring Range

$17.00 - $20.00

About this Position

The Parking Maintenance Technician maintains and enhances parking facilities managed by Parking Services. This position performs hands-on maintenance work, including repairing parking assistance devices, cleaning parking facilities, and servicing minor equipment. In this position, the role supports the Parking Maintenance Lead by collaborating on department-assigned tasks, such as maintaining the Orange Ride Program, and assists the department with customer service duties.

Required Qualifications

• High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
• Two years of experience in general trades, maintenance, or a related facilities field.

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

• Must possess a valid driver's license prior to hire and maintain a valid driver's license throughout employment.
• A valid driver's license is required to operate an OSU vehicle, which is necessary to perform assigned job duties.

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

• Knowledge of general maintenance principles
• Ability to recognize issues and apply basic problem solving
• Understanding of workplace safety practices, hazard awareness, and PPE use
• Basic computer and record-keeping skills
