Description

Position: Parking Garage Maintenance Attendant

Location: Near Xcel Energy Center, 145 N Smith Ave

Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm, 9:00am – 5:00pm, 3:00pm-11:00pm

Hourly Pay: $18

Application Deadline: 19 May 2025

Department: Operations - Field (OPS001)

Drivers License: Required

The Maintenance staff performs various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the parking facility, exceeding customer expectations. Responsibilities include general maintenance and repair of parking equipment, working closely with team members, the Operations Manager, and Shift Supervisor to meet standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with sign installation/removal, litter pick-up, and garbage removal
  • Snow removal and pressure washing as directed
  • Represent the company in case of accidents within the facility
  • Coordinate with property security on garage/parking issues
  • Assist with repair of broken gate arms
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Handle equipment valued from $200 to $50,000
  • Interact face-to-face with customers, prioritizing service
  • Keep work site clean, neat, and obstacle-free
  • Manage tools and equipment responsibly
  • Suggest improvements for job performance
  • Consult with supervisors on parking operations
  • Log issues/events and report to supervisor
  • Coordinate problem resolution with supervisors
  • Act as a frontline employee, representing the company
  • Wear neat uniforms; maintain professional appearance
  • Prioritize jobs with supervisor input
  • Track stock levels and supplies
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
  • Organized with effective communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of pressure washers, power tools, and trailer towing
  • Ability to operate snow plows (asset)
  • Ability to drive various vehicles (automatic/manual)
  • Knowledge of parking machinery
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Stand for entire shift
Education / Specialized Knowledge
  • Experience in repairs and maintenance
