LAZ Parking is seeking a Maintenance role in West Hollywood, CA. The position runs 6am–2:30pm, with duties centered on janitorial and general maintenance for garages and surface lots. Strong communication and the ability to work unsupervised are required.

Responsibilities include daily cleaning, minor repairs, and assisting customers. A HS diploma or GED is preferred, with prior maintenance experience beneficial. This is a full-time role with opportunities for growth within the LAZ family.

• Complete daily maintenance tasks efficiently and on time.
• Assist customers in garages and surface lots; support other functions as needed.

The Spirit of the Position:

The Maintenance is responsible for all janitorial responsibilities for garages and surface lots, ensuring they are maintained and cleaned on a daily basis. Interface with customers, provide effective communication between departments, and co-workers.

Principal Job Duties:

• Ensure garages and surface lots are maintained and cleaned on a daily basis.
• Responsible for general maintenance of the garage and surface lots - sweeping, wiping down surfaces and equipment, emptying trash, picking up trash, changing light bulbs, painting etc.
• Assist with winter upkeep (managing sidewalks and garages).
• May need to operate the garage/floor sweeper and scrubber to ensure floors are clean and safe.
• Responsible for ensuring all daily duties on the maintenance checklist are completed efficiently and timely.
• Provide assistance to customers in garages and surface lots.
• Assist with other functions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.

Experience:

• Experience with general facility maintenance required.
• Good communication skills.

Skills:

• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
• Willingness to be flexible, work multiple facility locations.
• Ability to handle challenging and at times, emotionally charged situations.
• Must be able to work unsupervised.
• Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.

Physical Demands:
