The Pittsburgh Parking Authority is seeking a meticulous Parking Enforcement Officer to patrol assigned routes, issue tickets for violations, and enforce city and state parking rules. The role involves shift work, possible driving, and collaboration with court and city departments.

Qualifications

• Requires background check.
• Knowledge of PA motor vehicle code parking regulations a plus.
• Moderate knowledge of Pittsburgh geography.
• Must be able to walk for long periods in all weather conditions.
• Proficient driving skills and valid PA driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Use assigned handheld ticket writing computer and printer.
• Patrol streets and lots on foot and by car.
• Identify and ticket improperly parked vehicles per regulations.
• Initiate booting procedures for violators.
• Notify offices when bootable vehicles are found.
• Take photos with handheld devices to support tickets.
