Responsibilities

• Enforces parking regulations and issues citations using hand-held computer for violations.
• Enters license plate numbers and related data into a handheld device to record violations.
• Prints and issues parking tickets, typically placing notices on vehicles.
• Operates handheld computer to check license plates for stolen or boot-eligible vehicles.
• Reports stolen/abandoned vehicles to the appropriate unit.
• Reports damaged or missing street signs and meters for repair.
• Completes vehicle activity and incident reports as needed.
