Job summary

The City of Waukesha is seeking a part-time Parking Enforcement Officer to patrol public parking areas, enforce regulations, and ticket violators during Friday and Saturday night shifts. The role includes maintaining City vehicles and assisting with traffic control at events.

Requirements include a Wisconsin driver’s license, ability to pass background checks, and good communication skills. 7.5 hours per week at a starting hourly rate shown below, with outdoor work in varying weather.

Job description

This is administrative work involving the enforcement of parking restrictions in public parking lots and other areas of the City. Enforces parking regulations; special assignments including transportation of items during duty hours. Agent wears uniform prescribed by the Chief and furnished by the City.

One (1) position is available

Hours

Part-time, 7.5 hours per week, Friday & Saturday, 1:30 AM - 5:15 AM

Starting Hourly Rate

$24.5799

Essential Job Functions

1. Patrols assigned areas of the City to enforce parking regulations.
2. Issues tickets for applicable violations of City parking regulations.
3. Marks tires of vehicles parked in unmetered timed parking zones, records the time and returns at specified intervals to ticket vehicles remaining in spaces illegally.
4. Performs routine maintenance on City vehicles and equipment.
5. Directs traffic as required for special events.

Knowledge of
