SP+, a Metropolis Company, is hiring a Parking Attendant to ensure the lot remains at proper capacity and accessible for customers in San Diego. The role involves directing drivers, counting vehicles, issuing warnings, and assisting guests with parking questions.

Strong customer-service focus and ability to work varied shifts are essential. The position pays $18.00 per hour plus tips, with full benefits and onsite responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Language Skills: read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; present information clearly.
• Mathematical Skills: basic arithmetic with dollars and cents.
• Appearance: neat, clean, in uniform at all times.
• Physical Demands: stand, walk, handle cash/equipment; occasional lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Direct customers to available parking spaces.
• Count vehicles on location during shift.
• Write and issue violation warnings for garage policy breaches.
• Patrol parking levels on foot or in carts.
• Assist customers who forgot where they parked.
• Ensure punctuality and proper uniform adherence.
• Assist customers or direct to Facility Manager as needed.
• Control traffic at entrances/exits.
• Assist in maintenance of parking equipment and general tasks as directed.
