Job summary

SP+ is seeking a cashier in Baltimore to deliver a smooth, courteous parking experience. You will handle payments, issue receipts, and assist customers with directions while maintaining a clean, secure booth and accurate cash handling.

Responsibilities include operating the register, recording revenue, and resolving customer questions; availability for various shifts may be required. This role reports to the supervisor and supports daily operations at the facility.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.
• License requirement: valid state-issued driver’s license if driving a company vehicle or on company business.
• Mathematical skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide; make change.
• Language skills: ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions and communicate with customers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Treat each customer with respect and kindness, ensuring each interaction delivers on the SP+ Promise.
• Maintain punctuality, uniform, and readiness to assist customers.
• Counts bank of revenue at the start of shift and ensure starting total is correct.
• Collects cash and/or validations and maintains security of cash.
• Issues receipts or tickets and processes transactions at the register.
• Assist customers with directions and locate locations as needed.
• Complete lost ticket forms when necessary.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly and escalate when needed.
• Answer phone calls promptly and courteously.
• Maintain booth cleanliness and manage supplies inventory.
• Record shift transactions and prepare daily revenue report.
