Job summary

Alterra Snowshoe is seeking a Parking Attendant for the winter season at Snowshoe Mountain, Snowshoe, WV. This seasonal role pays $15.00 per hour and requires availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Start date is late November to early December, with positions posted throughout the season. You will open and close operations, direct vehicles, guide guests and employees to parking, monitor gates, manage deliveries and fees, and help maintain parking areas.

Qualifications

• Seasonal parking attendant position on Snowshoe Mountain.
• Valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Direct vehicles to and from parking spaces.
• Guide guests and employees to correct parking locations, avoiding improper areas.
• Monitor gates and access to parking areas.
• Manage access for deliveries, shuttles, emergency and construction vehicles.
• Collect, reconcile, and deposit parking fees.
• Prevent theft and vandalism of parked vehicles.
• Patrol and maintain cleanliness in parking areas.
• Assist with resort and amenity information.
• Oversee cleanliness, snow removal, and maintenance at village bus stop.
• Dispose of trash and contribute to team efforts.
