Job summary

Black Oak Casino is seeking a Parking Attendant to direct vehicles and pedestrians in the casino parking areas, ensuring safety and excellent Guest service. You will assist Guests and Team Members, respond to inquiries, and stay informed about casino activities and events.

You must be able to communicate clearly in English, read maps and traffic signs, and operate a portable 2-way radio. The role requires 18+ years of age, a valid California driver’s license, passing a drug test, and the ability

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid California driver’s license and casino driver permit.
• Must be able to communicate using a portable 2-way radio and/or cell phone.
• Must read traffic signs, diagrams and maps.

Responsibilities

• Directs Guests and Team Members to parking spaces in designated areas.
• Safely directs vehicle movement in parking areas to ensure safety.
• Assists Guests courteously with parking and directions.
• Greet Guests and Team Members in a cordial manner.
• Wears protective equipment as required and follows safety procedures.
• Work shifts including weekends, holidays and special events.

SUMMARY: Responsible for effectively directing motor and foot traffic in the Casino parking areas, for Guests and Team Members safety.Essential Responsibilities and Duties: (Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to)Assists Guests promptly and courteously by safely directing their vehicles through the parking areas.Directs Guest and Team Members, where necessary, to park in designated areas.Ensures a maximum level of Guest service and satisfaction is achieved.Keeps regularly informed of Casino activities and events in order to respond to Guest enquiries.Greets Guests and Team Members in a cordial and pleasant manner.Performs other duties as assigned.Mandatory Requirements:High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.Must be at least 18 years of age.May be required to possess and maintain a valid California drivers license and a Black Oak Casino drivers permit.Must be able to communicate using a portable 2-way radios and/or cell phone.Must possess working knowledge of traffic signs and signals, and be able to read diagrams and maps.Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test.Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license.Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.Must possess excellent communication skills.Must be able to communicate in English.Physical Demands:Required to lift and push/pull up to 50 lbs and occasionally more with assistance.Must be physically able to perform all job requirements.Must be able to stand and walk up to 100% of job time.Required to work around moving machinery with possible exposure to vibration, dust, gas, steam or chemicals.Required to wear protective equipment such as mask, earplugs, gloves, eyewear, weather gear, etc.Work Environment:Must be able to work in a non-smoke free environment.Must be able to work in a noisy environment.Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.Potential exposure to infectious disease.Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events.Required to walk on uneven ground.
