Job summary

ABM Industries in Austin is seeking a Parking Attendant for part-time night shifts (Thu-Fri 11pm-3am, Sat-Sun 4pm-2am). Pay is $20 per hour. Duties include directing traffic, processing cash/credit transactions, and delivering excellent customer service at a busy parking facility.

Responsibilities include ticketing, payment handling, safety compliance, and maintaining a clean work area. Prior experience is not required; on-the-job training is provided.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Approach and greets all customers in a friendly, professional manner
• Use respectful communication to assist guests with their questions, problems, and concern
• Relay customer concerns and/or information to shift lead or Operations Manager as necessary
• Is quick and responsive to provide excellent customer service
• Follow all company procedures and complies with all safety regulations
• Issue and/or collect visitor parking tickets
• Match visitor ticket to parking rate schedule; collects proper payment from visitors and distributes correct change
• Complete lost ticket forms when original tickets cannot be located
• Reconcile receipts, cash, and charges; accurately account for all funds within cashier drawer
• Perform revenue drops following specific location procedures
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area
• Answer telephone in a prompt and courteous manner, when required
• Immediately report accidents, incidents or safety concerns to Operations Manager or Shift Lead
• Communicate professionally at all times with guests, client, and teammates

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Parking Attendant to join our team . In this role, you will be responsible for processing cash and electronic transactions with parking customers while providing excellent customer service. The Parking Attendant will also assist with directing traffic, ensuring the safe and efficient flow of vehicles, maintaining organized parking areas, and supporting overall parking operations.

Thurs-Fri 11pm -3 am, Sat-Sun 4 pm-2 am.
