Job summary

The Car Park in Raleigh, NC is hiring an Entry level Seasonal Parking Attendant. You will manage traffic flow, assist customers, and collect payments to ensure smooth operation of a busy parking facility.

Responsibilities include directing vehicles, counting spaces, screening permits, and delivering friendly service in all weather. The role requires punctual attendance and the ability to stand long hours on day or swing shifts.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; GED or high school diploma required.
• Seasonal role with day or swing shifts.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of a parking facility, while delivering a service that exceeds customers' expectations.
• Direct traffic to appropriate parking areas.
• Perform vehicle counts on location throughout shift to ensure parking does not overfill available spaces.
• Charge customers for parking as directed by the supervisor.
• Screen parking lots for permits.
• Supply exceptional customer service to all customers.
• Use hand signals and lights to direct patrons into open spots.
• Immediately report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns to the Supervisor.
• Position or remove barricades to prevent parking in certain spots.
