An established industry player is seeking a dedicated individual to manage operations at a beautiful 460-acre park. This role includes overseeing a lodge, restaurant, and campsites, while ensuring compliance with park directives. The ideal candidate will possess strong public relations skills and experience in park management, including supervisory roles. This position assists with the overall operations management of a 460-acre park that includes a 40 room lodge with a restaurant and gift shop, plus 41 campsites and support facilities. Applicant will interpret and ensure compliance with park directives and regulations. Other job duties include providing daily supervision to employees and completing performance reviews. This position provides enforcement of park rules and regulations and state laws within park boundaries. Applicant will have daily contact with the public and must possess excellent public relations skills. A valid driver’s license is required, as is the ability to traverse rough terrain.

Applicants must meet or exceed these qualifications: the formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree in park administration, parks and recreation management, natural science, recreation administration, business, or a related field; plus, three years of experience in park management, including two years in a supervisory or leadership capacity. Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements, except for certification or licensure requirements, upon approval of the qualifications review committee.
