Job summary

Western National Parks Association is seeking a full-time Sales & Information Associate for the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument park store in Ajo, Arizona. You will help manage daily retail operations, assist visitors, complete sales, and maintain high standards of service and merchandising on-site.

You will coordinate with park partners, support inventory and events, and contribute to a memorable park experience while supporting the nonprofit mission and education programs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Prior retail and point of sale system experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
• Ability to pass background checks and meet security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent visitor and customer service.
• Complete sales transactions.
• Assist with inventory, receiving, stocking, cleaning, organizing and merchandising.
• Maintain attractive product merchandising.
• Explain educational value of store products to visitors.
• Support events outside normal hours and on weekends.
• Assist with physical inventory counts and year-end counts.
• Represent WNP and NPS to park visitors.
