Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age; vision not worse than 20/200 correctable to 20/20.
• Must enroll in and be accepted into a Class 'A' certification program from the Missouri Department of Public Safety Police Officer Standards and Training Commission (POST).
• Must pass a motor vehicle records check.
• Must possess or maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Must submit to and pass a pre‑employment background check, psychological exams and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Gain certification as a Missouri law enforcement officer while serving as a full‑time associate.
• Provide park safety services and emergency support services.
• Patrol park properties and provide information to visitors.
