Job summary

Lee State Park in South Carolina seeks an individual to assist with overall park operation under general supervision, stepping in for the Park Manager when needed. You will handle administrative tasks, revenue reporting, and safety standards while supporting diverse park activities.

Responsibilities include maintenance oversight, managing retail and rentals, enforcing park rules, coordinating schedules, and communicating the park's natural and cultural resources to visitors.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Park Management or related field with one year of Park Ranger experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with overall operation and maintenance of a State Park under general supervision.
• Perform duties in accordance with Department policies and procedures and plan long- and short-term goals.
• Complete administrative duties including time sheets, reservations, deposits, and park planning.
• Collect revenue and produce required reports.
• Instruct and supervise routine maintenance on grounds, buildings and equipment to maintain safety.
• Manage park operations including retail, public use areas, rentals, shelter and facility operations.
• Enforce park rules and policies within established limits.
• Assist in inventory control and report generation.
• Interpret cultural and natural resources to park visitors.
