Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current Tennessee P.O.S.T. certification or eligible to obtain Tennessee certification within six months.
• Eligible for county commission and pass background checks including NCIC fingerprinting.
• Ability to pass polygraph and psychological evaluation and maintain required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary park visitor contact and assist in safety and program delivery.
• Enforce state, federal, and local laws and park rules and regulations.
• Provide basic first aid and security support as required by the situation.
• Prepare and forward reports with recommendations and maintain records.
• Coordinate with other law enforcement and public service entities as needed.
