ARIZONA STATE PARKS AND TRAILS is hiring a Park Ranger at Rockin' River Ranch State Park in Camp Verde, AZ. The role requires evening, weekend, and holiday availability with duties including custodial work, visitor services, and park operations.

The position involves collecting fees, assisting with events, maintaining facilities, and leading interpretive programs in a dynamic outdoor setting. Arizona driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of historic preservation, parks and recreation rules.
• Ability to enforce rules and assist visitors in a courteous manner.
• Experience with public-facing programs and events is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate park facilities and support visitor services.
• Collect entrance fees and handle gift shop transactions.
• Assist with events, social media, and volunteer coordination.
• Perform custodial and maintenance tasks as required.
• Provide interpretation and guided hikes when needed.
• Maintain records and assist with administrative duties.
