Job summary

American Conservation Experience, a nonprofit Conservation Corps, in partnership with the Bureau of Land Management, seeks two Park Ranger Aids for Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area, Florida. You will assist with site management, interpretive outreach, recreation planning, and NEPA-related workloads as part of a 32-week minimum internship.

The role emphasizes education, community engagement, and working with partners to promote Leave No Trace and safe park use.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in public land management and interpretation/outreach.
• Ability to work outdoors in variable conditions and follow safety protocols.
• Willingness to learn and perform a variety of maintenance and outreach tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage site facilities and public access while protecting resources.
• Assist in inventory and monitoring of biological, ecological, or cultural resources.
• Develop and deliver educational programs and interpretive materials.
