• Hiring Agency: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for certain competitive positions to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as a Park Ranger assisting the ranger staff with the routine day-to-day duties required to operate and maintain the recreational facility to which the employee is assigned.

Key Responsibilities

Provides routine visitor assistance such as: answering visitor's questions relating to the recreational facility; giving directions to the park's camp grounds, picnic areas and boating areas; providing instructions and information to the public.

Requirements & Education

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
