Job summary

Indianapolis Zoo is seeking Park Operations Team Members to help keep zoo operations running smoothly. This entry-level, part-time role involves event setup, equipment support, and maintaining clean facilities to welcome guests each day.

Ideal candidates are friendly, team-oriented, with customer service or housekeeping experience a plus. Pay is $13.00 per hour, with flexible scheduling and admission benefits for staff and their families.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age with an active Indiana driver's license.
• Entry level position; experience in customer service or housekeeping is a plus.
• This is a part-time, variable-hour role (20–29 hours per week).

Responsibilities

• MUST be at least 18 years of age with an active Indiana driver's license, insurable by the Zoo's insurance.
• Assist with event set-up and break-down including setting up/breaking down tables and chairs.
• Assist with maintenance and set-up of audio/visual equipment throughout the Zoo.
• Clean and vacuum event spaces to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Prior experience operating small equipment (e.g., power washer, leaf blower) is a plus.
