Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Foreman II – Maintenance to oversee daily maintenance and operational integrity of park facilities in Temple, TX. The role includes hands-on maintenance, directing crewmembers and comprehensive personnel management.

The candidate should have 3 years in landscape/general maintenance and 2 years in supervisory roles, plus strong organizational skills and safety focus. Certification in playground safety or licensing is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years in landscape/general maintenance, painting, welding, scheduling.
• 2 years in supervisory or lead role.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to crew members for proper maintenance of park structures, facilities, and grounds.
• Perform maintenance to improve parks systems and ensure safety and upkeep.
• Supervise personnel, including hiring, training, timesheet approval, reviewing performance, and scheduling of work.
• Enter work orders in MAINTRAC.
• Conduct bi-weekly inspections and schedule repairs.
• Assist in developing the parks division operating budget and capital requests.
• Support special events planning, setup, operation and tear down.
• Follow city policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
