Job summary

Naperville Park District is seeking Park Maintenance I & II to perform a variety of semi-skilled maintenance tasks across our parks in Naperville, IL. Duties include turf and field upkeep, ornamental horticulture, trail care, and facility maintenance.

Under supervision, you will also handle preventative maintenance on vehicles and assist with events. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license; expect outdoor work and potential weekend hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Maintain turf, sports fields, tennis courts, playgrounds and park facilities.
• Perform power and trim mowing in assigned parks.
• Assist with set-up and tear-down of special events and other duties as assigned.
• Perform preventative maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain park grounds including litter pickup, bathroom cleaning, and vandalism removal.
