Job summary

Foothills Park & Recreation District in Colorado is seeking a Park Maintenance I/II for Regional Parks. The role covers turf renovation, irrigation, trails, playgrounds, ball-field maintenance, and field operation set-up across Schaefer Athletic Complex and Easton Regional Park.

Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays with on-call duties rotating weekly. Experience in landscape maintenance and the ability to operate standard park equipment are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one within 30 days.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance methods, materials and equipment.
• Ability to operate landscape power/hand tools and heavy equipment such as mowers, backhoes, aerators.

Responsibilities

• Maintain turf, flowerbeds and vegetation across park sites.
• Perform mowing, edging, weeding, trimming and planting activities.
• Inspect/repair irrigation systems and related components.
• Prepare and maintain athletic fields and related layouts for events.
• Train and supervise seasonal and part-time staff as needed.
• Respond to public inquiries and assist with district events.
