Job summary

The City of Union City is seeking a Laborer to perform outdoor grounds maintenance and related tasks in city parks and facilities. You will cut grass, operate mowing equipment, and assist with repairs and cleaning as needed.

Responsibilities include handling tools safely, lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance, and working under various weather conditions. A valid GA driver's license and the ability to pass a drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
• High School diploma or GED preferred; education may be waived by work experience.

Responsibilities

• Cuts grass with power equipment and hand tools.
• Manually removes litter from park grounds.
• Cleaning and maintenance of recreation facilities.
• Load, unload, move, and organize materials, supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Operate light maintenance vehicles and various hand tools.
