Job summary

Obsolete Site is seeking a dedicated grounds maintenance worker to uphold park facilities at Fort Irwin. You will operate riding mowers and garden tractors, prune plantings, water landscapes, and assist with event setups and takedowns.

This on-site role requires physical stamina and the ability to follow English instructions for safety and quality control. The position involves daily cleaning, routine repairs, and maintaining park equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining public park areas and recreational facilities.
• Ability to read and understand English instructions and labels for safety and operations.
• Willingness to perform physical tasks, including lifting and operating heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain park picnic and pavilion areas and perform grass-cutting with riding mowers and garden tractors.
• Perform maintenance on park vehicles and equipment; prune shrubs, trim trees, and water landscapes.
• Clean and police recreational facilities daily; service restrooms and other public areas; manage waste and recycling.
