Job summary

State of Wyoming seeks a maintenance-focused professional to manage Medicine Lodge State Archaeological Site operations, ensuring grounds and facilities are safe and well-maintained. You will coordinate maintenance projects, oversee seasonal staff, and assist with public safety and interpretive programs for visitors.

The role requires hands-on building and grounds upkeep, water and irrigation system familiarity, and the ability to guide tours and interpret site history.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in grounds and facilities maintenance preferred.
• Ability to perform maintenance on buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Experience with interpretation programs and guiding tours is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site maintenance, prioritize work, and manage supplies and budgets.
• Inspect grounds, facilities, and equipment; identify repair needs.
• Oversee seasonal staff and assign daily tasks; maintain logs and time sheets.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist visitors with information.
