Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in retail, customer service and/or national park work.
• Knowledge and skill in money handling to process cash, checks, and credit cards; perform standard calculations and make change.
• Determine visitor eligibility for sale of interagency park passes.
• Experience with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Teams, MS Outlook, MS SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Recreation Fee Technician handling fee revenue and donations.
• Apply fee program knowledge and policies to fee collection.
• Provide current information and excellent customer service to visitors.
• Collect appropriate fees at park entrances and process receipts.
• Operate POS systems and issue entrance receipts, passes, or permits.
• Use reservation systems for payments and permits and explain rules to holders.
