Job summary

Xanterra Travel Collection is seeking a skilled Plumber for Yellowstone National Park. This full-time, year-round role covers installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing across our facilities, with focus on safety and sustainability in a high-altitude environment.

The position requires at least 2 years of plumbing experience, ability to read plans, and proficiency with CMMS. Benefits include comprehensive medical, retirement, and travel perks. An active driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of plumbing experience; valid plumbing license preferred.
• Proficient in troubleshooting water, sewer, and fuel systems.
• Skilled in pipe threading, pro-press, soldering, and acetylene welding.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and plumbing codes.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and proper use of PPE.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Proficient with CMMS and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plumbing systems to ensure safe and efficient operation of facilities and equipment.
• Perform seasonal opening and closing of plumbing systems.
• Conduct plumbing assessments, preventive maintenance, and repair/replacement of fixtures, piping, pumps, water heaters, and related components.
• Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track and report work orders and maintenance activities.
• Safely operate tools and equipment required for plumbing tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and cooperative work environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
• Work independently with minimal supervision; occasional overtime or night shifts may be required.
• Adhere to company sustainability and safety programs.
• Mentor and train less experienced maintenance staff.
