The purpose of this classification is to provide professional expertise and creativity to design and manage capital projects for park land development using best management practices and environmental sustainability.
This position designs capital construction projects on parks such as playgrounds, trails, or other park amenities. This position is responsible for ensuring designs meet applicable codes and regulations.
All certifications and licenses must be maintained as a condition of employment.
Landscape Architecture License must be obtained within the first six months of employment; those with an equivalency from another state must obtain their license from the Commonwealth of Kentucky within six months of employment.
