Job summary

The City of St. George Leisure Services invites applications for a part-time Park Attraction Attendant to support youth and adult programs, events, and facility operations.

Under supervision, you will help train staff and volunteers, oversee cash handling, safety, and equipment, and ensure smooth daily operations, including special events and train/carousel operations.

Availability on weekends/evenings is required; CPR/First Aid/AED training is provided or obtained within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Must be 17 years of age or older.
• Utah driver license must be obtained within 60 days of hire; maintain throughout employment.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications must be obtained within sixty (60) days of hire and maintained.
• Recreation or related field education preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, holidays; seasonal schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee part-time Park Attraction Attendants, Cashiers and Ride Operators during shifts.
• Provide leadership during assigned program, event, or facility operation.
• Help run youth and adult programs and/or special events.
• Train Park Attraction Attendants, Park Cashiers and Ride Operators.
• Ensure safety and security of supplies; request equipment as needed.
• Inspect facilities and enforce rules; report issues to management.
• Handle money and perform shift cash counts; open/close facility.
• Operate the Thunder Junction train and Carousel at Town Square.
