Job summary

The Salesian Society (Salesians of Don Bosco) in San Francisco invites applications for a Youth Ministry Project Coordinator for Parishes. The role provides leadership for implementing the Design–Serve–Reflect initiative across nine Salesian parishes in the USA West Province, strengthening parish youth ministry through mentoring, service opportunities, and resource development.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates commitment to the mission of the Salesians of Don Bosco.
• Understanding of Salesian spirituality and the Preventive System.
• Ability to facilitate theological reflection.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Standards and Benchmarks of the Salesian Parish.
• Fostering communication and collaboration amongst the different parishes of the Province (emphasizing best practices).
• Supporting the ongoing formation of Salesians and laity who share responsibility for parish ministry, through meetings and moments of formation.
• Supports the Provincial Commission for Parishes and assists with province-wide parish coordination.
• Serves as the primary administrative support for parish youth ministry initiatives.
• Assists with additional Province Youth Ministry initiatives as responsibilities expand.
