Job summary

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree in business with at least three years of accounting experience, including accounts payable/receivable, and is proficient with Parishsoft and payroll

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree in business and a minimum of 3 years' accounting experience, handling financial statements, AP/AR, and monthly closings.
• Experience using Parishsoft for payments, deposits, and bank reconciliations.
• Ability to coordinate payroll/benefits with the diocese.
• Strong budgeting, reporting, and cost‑saving initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Cash management using Parishsoft to pay invoices and reconcile balances.
• Financial accounting: enter, balance, and close monthly accounts.
• Finance council budgeting: prepare statements and coordinate budget with stakeholders.
• Human resources: coordinate payroll/benefits, maintain accurate personnel files.
• Project and risk management: improve efficiency or lower costs.
• Prepare reports to inform stakeholders.
